Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mic Hael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timo Takka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takka has chosen Dragonforce - Dawn Over a New World as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takka tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hael swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Some bone on bone action there as Takka checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Hael will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hael lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Takka loads up on a big right hand but Hael slips the punch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hael takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The fighters circling - Hael throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hael takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Hael changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Takka looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Takka regains half guard there - taking advantage of Hael's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hael is trying to control. Takka wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
