Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Magtangol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bukaw Pomruk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magtangol shoots in but no luck this time.

Pomruk takes the fight into the clinch.
Magtangol gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pomruk.
Pomruk tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Magtangol just stands there and leans against the cage.
Magtangol jumps guard but Pomruk stands there with Magtangol around his waist. Magtangol gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Pomruk is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Magtangol still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Magtangol has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Magtangol is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Magtangol will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Magtangol looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pomruk is fending him off so far but Magtangol persists. Nope, Pomruk circles away and we're back to standing.

Magtangol really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Horrible takedown by Magtangol or perhaps it was just good defense by Pomruk which made him look bad.
