Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vitali Jurcina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aldo Raine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raine has chosen Slaughter - Billy Preston as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Jurcina misses the target.
Jurcina fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Raine manages to avoid it.
Raine lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Raine uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jurcina.
Jurcina throws a sloppy head kick and Raine moves out of range easily.
Raine lands with a thumping leg kick.
Raine throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jurcina cracks Raine with a right hand to the side of the head.

and Raine counters with a low kick, right behind Jurcina 's knee.

Jurcina is looking to wear down Raine with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Raine throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jurcina on the side of the head.

Jurcina throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Raine sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Raine is looking to slow Jurcina down with leg kicks.
Jurcina tries to bum rush Raine with a series of wild strikes but Raine uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Raine blocks a head kick by Jurcina.
Jurcina lands an overhand right.
Raine is looking to chop away at Jurcina's legs.
Jurcina tries a head kick but it misses.
Raine scores with a nice strike.
Raine buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Raine presses Jurcina against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Raine stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Jurcina misses with a knee to the head.
Jurcina tries to stall but Raine uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Jurcina tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Jurcina is trying to maintain a safe position but Raine gets an underhook and turns Jurcina into the cage.

Raine lands with a short shot to the head.
Raine can't find room to land a body shot as Jurcina controls the action.

Jurcina moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Raine throws a hook but Jurcina blocks it.
Jurcina shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Jurcina gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Raine.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Raine rushes Jurcina and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Raine tries to throw a body punch but Jurcina avoids it by throwing Raine back against the cage.
Jurcina misses with some punches.
Jurcina tries a body shot but Raine blocks it.
Raine presses Jurcina against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Raine breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Raine avoids the head kick by Jurcina.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jurcina stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Jurcina swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Raine counters with an outside leg kick.
Raine throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Raine is looking to clinch but Jurcina is avoiding it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aldo Raine dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

No joy there for Jurcina, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The fighters circle, before Raine throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Jurcina's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Raine lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
