Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bayolens manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jonson tries a head kick but it misses.
Jonson walks into a stiff left hand from Bayolens.
Jonson doesn't manage to clinch there - Bayolens circles away.
Bayolens tries to move into range but Jonson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Jonson slips a jab and a cross from Bayolens.

Jonson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Jon Jonson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bayolens keeps the fight on the outside.
Jonson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bayolens to score with a decent uppercut.

and Bayolens counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Jonson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A nice combination there by Bayolens.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jonson lands a brutal uppercut that launches Bayolens off his feet! Bayolens tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Jon Jonson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
