Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joey De Andreas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Andreas's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rocky. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joey De Andreas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Do!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Andreas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Do looks for a takedown but De Andreas sprawls well.
De Andreas has a takedown stuffed.

De Andreas shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

De Andreas is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Do defends it well.

De Andreas wants to work for an arm triangle but Do is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Do tries to get to full guard but De Andreas has control of the leg.
De Andreas throwing shots but Do is blocking nicely.
Do gets full guard.
Do is trying to control the position but De Andreas postures up.

Daniel Do has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
De Andreas misses with a series of wild punches.

Do stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Do wants it to stay on the feet.
De Andreas shoots in for a double leg but Do sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Do looking to punish the body of his opponent here but De Andreas is avoiding damage well.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joey De Andreas will probably get the nod.

Daniel Do comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
