Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan McCarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Bobby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCarthy comes to the cage accompanied by Crank That. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobby dives in and grabs McCarthy's left leg, looking for a takedown. McCarthy pushes down on Bobby's head and hops out.
McCarthy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

McCarthy clinches with his opponent.
McCarthy is trying to break free.
Bobby prevents McCarthy from breaking the clinch.

McCarthy manages to break the clinch.
McCarthy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bobby moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McCarthy throws a lazy head kick
and Bobby counters with a one-two to the body.
McCarthy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McCarthy throws a right hand that Bobby ducks under and follows up with a left that Bobby also avoids with ease.
Bobby fails with the takedown.
McCarthy tries a head kick but it misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

McCarthy moves into the clinch.
McCarthy is looking to break free of the clinch but Bobby has double underhooks.

Bobby pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bobby lands a big head kick that sends McCarthy tumbling to the mat! Bobby takes a step backwards and waves McCarthy back to his feet - he wants the finish!

McCarthy is rocked!
Nice sprawl there from McCarthy as Bobby shoots in.
Oh McCarthy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ryan McCarthy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Bobby.
Sloppy strikes from McCarthy. Those never looked like landing.

Bobby shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Bobby has managed to clinch.
McCarthy seems to have got his legs back now.
Bobby is trying to drag McCarthy to the mat but McCarthy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Bobby jumps guard and drags McCarthy to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Bobby manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Bobby throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! McCarthy has his hands clasped together but Bobby breaks the hold and McCarthy is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Bobby!

In his post fight interview, Ricky Bobby started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
