The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jennings fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Steve to the ground. Jennings is now in Steve's guard.
Jennings pushes down on Steve's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Jennings seems to be working for a kimura but Steve defends the submission attempt.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Steve has eaten all the pies!

Jennings is working for a kimura but Steve is defending it quite comfortably.
Steve wants to improve his position but Jennings is controlling well.

Jennings is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Steve doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jennings.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Steve really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jennings. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jennings is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Steve has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Jennings has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Steve taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Jennings doesn't care though - he's delighted!
