The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Down is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hendricks.
Down swats away the attempt to clinch by Hendricks.
Hendricks misses with a takedown
and Down counters with a straight right hand.
Down keeps the fight on the outside.
Hendricks is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hendricks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Down pinned against the cage. Down gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Hendricks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Down. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
