PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Padilha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Hoffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Padilha might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Superman - Eminem. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Padilha wants to clinch but Hoffer slips to the side
and Hoffer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Padilha has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Padilha there as he acknowledges the shot.
Padilha shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

The fighters circle momentarily. Hoffer darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Padilha tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Hoffer counters with a left and a right that stings Padilha.

Padilha tries to sprawl but Hoffer drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Oh Padilha is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hoffer lands a big elbow - Padilha is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Hoffer!
