The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meister closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Granger regains half guard.
Meister wants to pass to mount but Granger is defending the position.
Meister wants to lay and pray for a moment but Granger keeps working.
Meister trying to advance position but Granger counters by regaining guard.
Granger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Meister has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Granger pulls Meister in to control the position.
Meister stands up from Granger's guard - Meister perhaps looking for a knockout.
Meister feints and as Granger raises his hands in defense, Meister changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Granger keeping full guard, as Meister tries to pass.

Meister would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Granger looking for a guillotine here but Meister defends easily.
Meister is sitting in close to Granger's body. Granger has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Meister is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Meister is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Granger.
