Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wilson to the mat! Wilson manages to get full guard.

Silva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Silva gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.

Silva is nestled in close to Wilson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Let's hope that Silva has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Silva cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wilson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.

Silva takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Silva is landing with some decent strikes but Wilson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Silva has control of Wilson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wilson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Wilson looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Silva! Submission of the night perhaps?
