PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angel BloodWing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coulton Maguire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maguire has chosen LMFAO- Sexy and I Know it as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maguire takes one to the side of the head.
BloodWing throws a right and a left that Maguire avoids nicely.

Maguire wants to clinch up but BloodWing keeps it at a distance.
BloodWing tries a head kick but it misses.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Maguire is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

BloodWing works to advance to full mount. Maguire defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Maguire is in a horrible position here. BloodWing smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

BloodWing scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Maguire pushes off an throws an elbow but BloodWing leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

BloodWing dives in and grabs Maguire's left leg, looking for a takedown. Maguire pushes down on BloodWing's head and hops out.
BloodWing fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Maguire avoids the head kick by BloodWing.
Maguire slips a jab and a cross from BloodWing.
Maguire fails with an attempt to clinch.
Maguire moves in looking to clinch but BloodWing pushes him off.
BloodWing looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Maguire is fending him off so far but BloodWing persists. Nope, Maguire circles away and we're back to standing.

BloodWing ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maguire moves away.
Maguire tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. BloodWing manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

BloodWing manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Maguire on his heels. He'll look to pass Maguire's guard now, I'm sure.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

BloodWing shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Maguire sprawls well. Maguire wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. BloodWing gets slowly back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Maguire enables BloodWing to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Maguire manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Angel BloodWing.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for BloodWing, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
