Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Billy Paxton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hofniel Apollyon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paxton comes to the cage accompanied by Advance Australia Fair. Apollyon has chosen On My Own-Alone as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paxton wants to clinch up but Apollyon keeps it at a distance.
Paxton misses with a hook.
Paxton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Paxton takes a swing at Apollyon's ribcage but misses.
Apollyon blocks a jab.
Apollyon gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Apollyon misses with a body kick.
Apollyon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Paxton.

Paxton misses with a straight right.
Apollyon thows a body shot but no joy.
Nice uppercut lands for Apollyon. That snapped Paxton's head back.

Apollyon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Paxton was well out of range. Poor timing from Apollyon.

and Apollyon counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Paxton tries to clinch but Apollyon moves out of range.
Paxton tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Apollyon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Paxton takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

A looping hook to the body misses from Apollyon. Paxton does a little dance to reset his feet.
Paxton throws a nice looking combination but Apollyon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Paxton tries to clinch
and Apollyon counters with a head kick. That will keep Paxton thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Apollyon is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Paxton rather than just go for the knockout.

Paxton pounces like a tiger and cracks Apollyon with a vicious hook! Apollyon is down but not out! Paxton follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
