Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tyrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gil Gilbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Tyrell there.
Gilbert lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Tyrell waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gilbert.
Gilbert will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Gilbert keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tyrell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gilbert circles away quickly and effectively.
A nice combination there by Tyrell.
Tyrell moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Tyrell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gilbert tries to move into range but Tyrell moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gilbert looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Tyrell takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Tyrell closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Gilbert shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tyrell but Tyrell pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tyrell takes a kick to the side of the head.
Tyrell jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tyrell connects with a right hand. Gilbert shakes it off.
Tyrell misses with a series of wild punches.
Tyrell digs a good hook to Gilbert's body.
Mike Tyrell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyrell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Gilbert quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Tyrell has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gilbert celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
