Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jonas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan has chosen Sherry Monocle as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jon Jonas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonas throws out a powerful jab.
Morgan connects with an inside leg kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Jonas checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jonas lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Morgan throws the kick towards the body but Jonas avoids it.
Jonas checks a leg kick nicely.

Morgan gets tackled into the cage by Jonas. Jonas maintains the clinch.
Jonas lands a hook to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jonas throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Morgans head.

Jonas gets control of Morgan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jonas will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Jonas is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Morgan wants to control from the top but Jonas keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jon Jonas.
Morgan moves out of range as Jonas strikes.

Simon Morgan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Morgan tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jonas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Morgan sprawls well. Morgan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jonas gets slowly back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Morgan throws a body kick that misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jonas crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Morgan - the referee stops the clock and Jonas gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Morgan. Jonas manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Jonas scores with a sloppy right hand. Morgan should have avoided that one.
Morgan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jonas works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A bone on bone clash there as Jonas blocks the leg kick.
Jonas fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Morgan swings for the body but Jonas moves out of range.
Jonas takes a kick to the side of the head.
Jonas blocks a leg kick.
Jonas throws a low kick, looking for Morgan's leg but Morgan calmly moves out of range.
Morgan throws a sloppy head kick and Jonas moves out of range easily.
Jonas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jonas is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Jonas cracks Morgan with an open hand slap.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Morgan is trying to break free.
Morgan misses with a punch to the body.
Jonas lands a shot to the body.
Jonas avoiding damage.

Morgan takes a shot to the head.
Morgan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jonas has him pressed against the cage.
Jonas lands a nice shot to the body.
Morgan misses with a hook from the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jonas lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Jonas works on Morgan's body with a couple of short punches.
Morgan is looking to break free of the clinch but Jonas has double underhooks.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jonas blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Jonas lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Morgan or not.
Jonas lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jonas closes the distance and clinches.
Jonas goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Morgan wants to break free but Jonas has control.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Jonas.
Jonas throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Morgans head.
Jonas is leaning against Morgan and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Morgan is trying to push Jonas away but Jonas has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Morgan tries to circle away but Jonas has him pinned against the cage.
Morgan is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Morgan swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Morgan is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jonas is keeping busy.

Morgan struggles to land a body shot inside as Jonas controls his hands.
Morgan swings wildly with an uppercut but Jonas uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jonas scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Jonas tries to score a body lock takedown but Morgan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
