The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silveira gets caught flat footed, as McBorin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silveira will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
McBorin trying to control the position from guard on top but Silveira is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McBorin pushes down on Silveira's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Silveira is looking to get back to is feet but McBorin passes into side control.
McBorin is trying to get an arm triangle but Silveira is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silveira is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on McBorin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
McBorin trying to control the action but Silveira is working from the bottom.
Silveira wants to improve his position but McBorin is controlling well.
McBorin wants to take a breather but Silveira is having none of it.

McBorin working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Silveira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McBorin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

McBorin scores with a big shot! Silveira's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Silveira! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
