The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Chen blocks the leg kick.
Chen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ward circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ward throws a shot from downtown. Chen moves away and avoids it.
Ward throws a jab when Chen was well out of range.
Ward scores with a punch to the head.
Ward takes a swing at Chen's ribcage but misses.

Chen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ward swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Chen lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ward throws a leg kick which misses Chen's front leg but catches the back leg as Chen tries to avoid it.
Ward ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chen moves away.

Chen cracks Ward with a hook to the temple - Ward is on wobbly legs here! Chen swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Ward falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Chen wins by TKO!
