PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyan Mcade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trick Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcade kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Prequel to the sequel.. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcade swats away the attempt to clinch by Davis.
Mcade tries a head kick but it misses.
A left and a right from Mcade both land. Nice combination.
Trick Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis moves in looking to clinch but Mcade pushes him off.
A head kick from Mcade lands but Davis takes it in his stride.
Mcade looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Davis is fending him off so far but Mcade persists. Nope, Davis circles away and we're back to standing.
Davis wants to clinch up but Mcade keeps it at a distance.
Davis throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mcade counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Davis takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Mcade swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Davis to counter with a crisp jab.
Davis throws a combination that misses
and Mcade counters with a three punch combo that has Davis backing up. Davis nods at Mcade to acknowledge the strikes.
Mcade scores with a head kick.
Davis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Davis gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Mcade counters with a single leg into guard. Davis didn't expect that.

Mcade thows a big elbow that misses.
Davis can't keep his opponent in guard - Mcade advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Mcade missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mcade decides to return to a standing position.
Davis throws a lazy uppercut
and Mcade counters with a two punch combo.
Davis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mcade counters with a thumping low kick.
Davis looks gassed!

and Mcade counters with a single leg into guard. Davis didn't expect that.
Mcade lands a couple of elbows.
Mcade thows a big elbow that misses.
Mcade trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Mcade is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Mcade forces his way into half guard.
Mcade throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Mcade stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Mcade looks to land a combination. Davis sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Davis misses with a double jab
and Mcade counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Davis swings widly with a right hand

and Mcade counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Mcade won't allow Davis to get back to his feet.
Mcade in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Davis is trying to control the position but Mcade postures up.

Davis pushes a forearm under Mcade's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Mcade is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
