And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moses throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Batista gets caught flat footed, as Moses shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Moses avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Batista has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moses can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Moses postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Batista is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Moses, into his guard.
Moses wants to get back to his feet but Batista is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Batista looks for a takedown but Moses sprawls well.

Moses scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Batista misses with the combination.
Batista shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Moses eats them both and turns towards Batista to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Batista swats away the attempt to clinch by Moses.
Batista tries to bum rush Moses with a series of wild strikes but Moses uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Moses shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Batista wants to control but Moses is having none of it.
