Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kimura shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kimura wants to control from the top but Mox keeps moving.
Mox has control of Kimura's left arm, preventing Kimura from doing any damage.
Mox is looking to sweep but instead, Kimura has passed into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kimura fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mox manages to avoid it.

Mox closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kimura did well to prevent Mox getting side control.
Mox really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kimura slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Mox seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mox prevents Kimura from getting back to his feet.
Mox stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kimura swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Mox closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mox lands in his opponent's guard.
Mox is working Kimura over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Mox will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ken Kimura wasn't active enough on the ground.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mox is looking for a sweep. Kimura is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mox is doing well to control the position and prevent Kimura from advancing to side control.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr Mox dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mox drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Mox wants to control but Kimura is keeping him busy.
Kimura tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mox wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Mox is taking a breather. Kimura says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Kimura wants to control but Mox is keeping busy.
Mox working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Mox is stalling here. Kimura is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Mox seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kimura has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Mox takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Mox on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mox tries to get out of the position.

Kimura has an Americana. Mox didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kimura is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kimura hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ken Kimura!
