Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Takashi Kadota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kadota might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Better With The Lights Off - New Boyz. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Kadota there.
Donovan misses with a leg kick.

Kadota throws a quick inside leg kick.
Donovan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Pete Donovan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donovan tries to close the distance and clinch but Kadota swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Kadota counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kadota postures up in Donovan's guard and throws a big left but Donovan blocks it.

Donovan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Kadota throws an elbow that misses. Donovan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kadota's guard. Nice move by Donovan!

Donovan wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Kadota's closed guard. He's half up but Kadota has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Kadota pivots and extends the arm, Donovan falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Kadota! Well done that man!
