The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Diaz bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kent's head.

Diaz takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kent takes a swing at Diaz's ribcage but misses.

Diaz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kent circles away quickly and effectively.

Kent takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kent takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Diaz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kent moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Tyson Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diaz takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A combination from Diaz does no damage.

Kent rushes Diaz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Kent breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kent wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
