Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Grayson Williams!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Dean Styles and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts scores with a hook to the body. Williams takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Williams dives in and grabs Roberts's left leg, looking for a takedown. Roberts pushes down on Williams's head and hops out.
Williams shoots in for a takedown but Roberts shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Williams shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Williams throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Williams scoring with strikes but Roberts is staying in there.
Roberts is trying desperately to improve position.
Williams lands a big shot there that rocks Roberts but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Roberts avoids a series of strikes thrown by Williams.
Williams with shots to the head and body - Roberts looks very uncomfortable down there.
Roberts is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roberts is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Roberts bucks Williams off and manages to get back to his feet!
Williams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roberts's waist but Roberts gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams off to one side.
Jim Roberts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grayson Williams.
Roberts leaves Williams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Roberts digs a good hook to Williams's body.
Williams looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Roberts is fending him off so far but Williams persists. Nope, Roberts circles away and we're back to standing.

Williams wants to clinch.
Williams ducks right into an uppercut from Roberts.
A cross from Roberts lands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Williams shoots in looking for a takedown. Roberts tries to sprawl out of it but Williams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Roberts manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Williams changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Roberts tries to avoid it but Williams manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Roberts to the ground. Roberts escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Roberts lands an overhand right.
The fight stays on the outside here - Williams looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Roberts throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Williams misses with the combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Roberts fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Williams looks gassed!
Roberts bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Jim Roberts is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Williams will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Williams misses with a takedown attempt
and Roberts makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Williams swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Roberts scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
The fighters circle momentarily. Roberts darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Roberts scores with a shot to the body.
Williams takes one on the button.
Williams is rocked!
Roberts throws a quick inside leg kick.
Williams is still on wobbly legs! Can Roberts finish him?
Williams walks straight into a right hand from Roberts - that's dropped him! Roberts jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Williams from any more punishment! Williams complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jim Roberts!
