Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Gaucho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and High Lighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gaucho comes into the arena with Accardipane vs. Ballon-Go West blaring out of the sound system. Lighter has chosen What What (In the Butt) as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaucho lands the left hand.
Gaucho throws a head kick but Lighter moves out of range.
Gaucho misses with a takedown attempt
and Lighter counters with a straight right hand.
Gaucho moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rafael Gaucho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gaucho doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Gaucho takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gaucho throws a half hearted mid kick.
Gaucho looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lighter is fending him off so far but Gaucho persists. Nope, Lighter circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rafael Gaucho. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lighter circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Gaucho to the canvas! Gaucho doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Lighter keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). High Lighter!
Our winner, High Lighter, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
