The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Oliveira defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Burns.
Burns shoots in for a takedown but Oliveira shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dick Burns. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Oliveira has managed to clinch.
Oliveira prevents a takedown attempt there.
Burns has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Oliveira is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Oliveira leaves Burns with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Oliveira lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Dick Burns has been cut.
