Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Ruzinzki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pedro Alves looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Ruzinzki or perhaps it was just good defense by Alves which made him look bad.
Alves throws a series of punches but Ruzinzki moves out of range.
Ruzinzki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alves tries to avoid it but Ruzinzki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alves to the ground. Alves escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A jab lands there for Alves.
Alves plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Ruzinzki shoots for a double leg takedown but Alves sprawls well. He's pushed Ruzinzki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ruzinzki has control of Alves's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Alves regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ruzinzki is trying to stick to Alves's back but Alves is turning into Ruzinzki. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ruzinzki's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Alves.
