PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muay Mick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leroy Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rose has chosen Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff as his entrance music. Leroy Rose is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Muay Mick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leroy Rose!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mick takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Rose attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Mick drives through and clinches with Rose against the cage.

Rose jumps guard and drags Mick to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Mick trying to control the position from guard on top but Rose is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mick has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Rose pushes Mick off and gets back to his feet.
Mick throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rose.
Mick closes the distance but Rose moves to the side
and Rose counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rose stalks Mick and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mick's face. Mick staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Muay Mick has been cut.
Leroy Rose seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rose lands a left and a right that send Mick crashing to the mat, dazed. Rose thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Rose keeps the fight on the outside.

Rose closes the distance and pushes Mick back into the cage.

Rose pulls guard effortlessly.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Rose pushes Mick off and scrambles back to his feet.

Rose rushes Mick and presses him up against the cage.
Rose gets through Mick's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Mick is rocked!
Mick can't break the clinch.
Oh Mick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rose working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Rose manages to break the clinch.
Mick is aggressively charging in as Rose backs up avoiding any damage. Rose tosses out a jab and Mick runs right into it face first! Mick is out cold! Rose dropped down on all fours and is barking in Mick's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Leroy Rose!
Leroy Rose bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
