The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bogan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ortiz paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bogan misses with a wild body shot.
Bogan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bogan throws a lazy uppercut
and Ortiz counters with a nice uppercut.
Ortiz walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ortiz throws a low kick but Bogan moves out of range easily.
Bogan misses with a leg kick
and Ortiz counters with a nice body shot.
Bogan darts in trying to clinch
and Ortiz counters with a nice kick to the body.
Bogan looks gassed!
Ortiz goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ortiz fakes the leg kick and cracks Bogan in the body.
Ortiz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ortiz throws a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bogan blocks a head kick by Ortiz.
Ortiz jabs at Bogan's body.
Ortiz fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Bogan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Ortiz! This one is all over!

Randy Ortiz really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that 5th Round Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
