The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson gets the takedown into side control.
Baxter managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Anderson.
Baxter is trying to control Anderson's posture but Anderson avoids it.
Anderson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Baxter gets back to half guard.

Anderson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Anderson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Baxter with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Anderson connects with a nice short shot to Baxter's temple.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Anderson is taking a breather. Baxter says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Baxter has hold of Anderson's hands but Anderson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Baxter has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Anderson is working away from the top position though.
Baxter is looking for a sweep. Anderson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anderson stops Baxter from getting back to his feet.
Anderson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Baxter is desperately trying to improve his position but Anderson has a good base and remains in mount.
BOOM! Anderson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Baxter is wriggling around trying to escape.
Anderson avoids the attempt from Baxter to control.

Anderson cracks Baxter with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Anderson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Baxter is still in real trouble! Can Anderson finish him?
Baxter takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Anderson's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Alexander Anderson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
