Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jefferson Davis Hogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago De Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogg comes to the cage accompanied by Last Ones Standing. The crowd seem to be enjoying De Santos's choice of entrance music: Drop the World. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Santos takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Hogg throws an uppercut from half a mile away. De Santos sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hogg buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

De Santos closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hogg to the mat! Hogg manages to get full guard.

De Santos has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hogg is working away from the top position though.

Hogg is taking a breather. De Santos says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jefferson Davis Hogg just wasn't active enough.

De Santos bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hogg's guard.

Hogg will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Jefferson Davis Hogg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago De Santos.

De Santos takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Hogg tries to close the distance and clinch up but De Santos swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hogg fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt De Santos.
Hogg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by De Santos.
Hogg thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on De Santos if he has to take too many more of those.
De Santos has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hogg.

Hogg's jab looks to have found its range, popping De Santos under the eye.
Hogg ducks down and throws a hook to the body but De Santos moves away.

Thiago De Santos opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
