Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ringo Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spider Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spar comes to the cage accompanied by i Get Knocked Down, But i Get Up Again. Spider Machida has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida throws a sloppy head kick and Spar moves out of range easily.
Machida fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Spar manages to avoid it.
Machida shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Spar eats them both and turns towards Machida to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

A big head kick from Spar and Machida is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Spider Machida has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Spar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Machida has his hands on Spar's head, controlling the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Spar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Spar wants to control from the top but Machida keeps moving.
Spar looking to sit in guard and control but Machida gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Spar looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Spar wants to stand up but Machida is controlling him.
Machida postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ringo Spar has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Machida throws a leg kick that misses.
Machida cracks Spar with a good jab.
Machida misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Spar.

Spar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Spar moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Spar moves out of range of the leg kick from Machida.
Machida connects with a body shot that sends Spar's belly button to the back.
Machida swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Spar takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Machida throws a leg kick but Spar sees it coming and moves out of range.
Machida misses with a jab, cross combination.
Machida wants to clinch up but Spar keeps it at a distance.

Spar tries to keep at a distance but Machida has taken the fight into the clinch.
Spar tries to score a body lock takedown but Machida shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Machida lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Spar goes for a takedown attempt but Machida pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Machida changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Machida bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Spar's head.
Machida throws a jab but it's blocked by Spar.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head kick misses from Spar.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Spar checks a leg kick.
Machida connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Machida slips a jab from Spar.
Machida swings for the body but Spar moves out of range.
Machida loads up on a big right hand but Spar slips the punch.
Spar takes one on the button.
Spar slips under a jab from Machida.
Machida connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Spar tumbling to the canvas! Machida pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Spar was done - good stoppage!
