The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mackay misses with a low kick.

enabling Hayes to counter with a crisp jab.
Mackay swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hayes counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Mackay misses with an uppercut

letting Hayes counter with a right hand.

Mackay is rocked!

Hayes closes the distance and pushes Mackay back into the cage.
Mackay tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Mackay jumps guard but Hayes turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Mackay jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hayes walks away with a smile on his face. Mackay gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ryan Hayes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dalton Mackay.
Mackay tries to clinch up but Hayes circles away and keeps his distance.
