Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Lombardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mega Fredriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lombardo comes to the cage accompanied by From Despair To Where. Fredriksson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. DMX - Megatron Gon' Give It To Ya kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Mega Fredriksson!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombardo swinging wildly here.
Lombardo tries a head kick but it misses.
Mega Fredriksson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lombardo throws a wild body kick that Fredriksson sees coming a mile off.
Lombardo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fredriksson circles away quickly and effectively.
Lombardo looks to land a combination but Fredriksson avoids it well.
Nice sprawl there from Lombardo as Fredriksson shoots in.
Lombardo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A head kick misses from Lombardo.

It looks like Anthony Lombardo has been cut.
Lombardo looks for a takedown but Fredriksson sprawls well.

Lombardo gets caught flat footed, as Fredriksson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fredriksson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lombardo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Lombardo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Fredriksson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lombardo is working away from the top position though.

Fredriksson tries to hold on but Lombardo pushes him away.
Lombardo lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Fredriksson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Lombardo avoids the attempt from Fredriksson to control.
Lombardo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fredriksson is looking to escape.
Fredriksson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lombardo scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Fredriksson?
Fredriksson is looking to get to half guard.
Fredriksson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Lombardo pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Fredriksson is wriggling around trying to escape.

Lombardo looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Fredriksson covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
