Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Corey Norman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Mercer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norman gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Norman gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mercer regains guard.
Norman wants to control from the top but Mercer keeps moving.
Norman is looking to advance position but Mercer has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
BOOM! Mercer connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Mercer jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Norman is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Norman and Mercer has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Norman is trying to control Mercer's posture but Mercer avoids it.

Norman works to advance to full mount. Mercer defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Norman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
