Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Willie Wynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Fire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wynn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Flower Of Scotland - Red Hot Chilli Pipers. Tommy Fire has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Willie Wynn's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Willie Wynn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tommy Fire!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fire fails with the takedown.
Wynn throws a good cross that connects.
Decent striking displayed by Wynn there.
Wynn bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Wynn connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fire momentarily.
Fire fails with the takedown
and Wynn counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fire thinking.

Wynn darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Wynn lands strikes from half guard.
Wynn is trying to control the action in half guard but Fire is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Fire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wynn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wynn is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Fire is not content to let Wynn control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wynn has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee warns Fire that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Wynn jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fire manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Fire is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wynn's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Wynn! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Fire has tapped! This one is allllll over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Willie Wynn!
Our winner, Willie Wynn, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
