Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adam Pierce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cam Kran!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kran is defended easily by Pierce.

Pierce closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kran should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Pierce is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Pierce prevents Kran from improving his position.
Pierce thows a huge punch but Kran dodges it nicely.
Kran controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Pierce controlling the action here.
Kran gets back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kran holds on and takes a little breather.
Pierce sitting in guard here, content to control.

We're going to have a standup here because Adam Pierce wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Kran moves out of range as Pierce throws a body kick.
Kran ducks right into an uppercut from Pierce.


It looks like Cam Kran has been cut.

Pierce moves into range and clinches up with Kran.

Pierce lands a takedown into guard.

Kran looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pierce wants to control from the top but Kran keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Pierce avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kran working a defensive guard here.
Kran looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pierce is one step ahead there.
Pierce trying to control but Kran is working from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kran has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pierce can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Pierce trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Kran manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Pierce is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kran throwing strikes but missing.
Kran passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pierce gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pierce can't escape the position.
Kran landing strikes from the mount and Pierce is in trouble!
Pierce tries to lock up and control but Kran gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Kran wants to finish this one by submission but Pierce is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kran.
Pierce tries to hold on but Kran postures up.
Kran landing shots from mount.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kran breaks from Pierce's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Kran lands with some strikes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pierce is trying to escape the mount.
Pierce wants to control but Kran is having none of it.
Kran lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Adam Pierce will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Cam Kran's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Pierce shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Pierce controlling the position easily from mount.
Kran is squirming around, avoiding Pierce's attempts to control the action.
Kran sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Kran trying to control but Pierce postures up.
Kran tries to get to full guard but Pierce has control of the leg.
Kran is refusing to be controlled, as Pierce sits in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kran slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Kran working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pierce.

Kran looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Pierce tries to stand but Kran is controlling from the bottom.
Pierce is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Kran is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Pierce rolls with it to try and escape but Kran cranks on the arm and Pierce is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
