The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mattenbauer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Shot tries to close the distance and clinch but Mattenbauer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

It looks like Title Shot has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
