The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

TriX tries to sprawl but Paiskbah drives through with a takedown into half guard.
TriX is looking to control Paiskbah's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can TriX avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Paiskbah prevents TriX from improving his position.
Paiskbah throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Paiskbah lands with a punch from half guard.
TriX has hold of Paiskbah's hands but Paiskbah slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
TriX tries to get to full guard but Paiskbah has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

TriX pushes Paiskbah off and gets back to his feet.
TriX tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Paiskbah paws at him with a jab and circles away.
TriX shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Paiskbah ducks down and throws a hook to the body but TriX moves away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

TriX closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Paiskbah quickly recovers to half guard.

TriX stalling away here and it's allowed Paiskbah to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

TriX is looking to stand up but Paiskbah won't let him.
Paiskbah is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

TriX is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Paiskbah is nestled in close to TriX, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Paiskbah loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have TriX scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Paiskbah land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Paiskbah stands and salutes the crowd.
