The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lin shoots in but Santos avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Santos gets a clinch.
Santos gets underhooks to prevent Lin's takedown attempt.
Lin has Santos pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Santos manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Lin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Santos drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lin gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Santos is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lin pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Lin has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Santos clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Santos rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Santos tries to get to full guard but Lin has control of the leg.
Santos has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lin is working away from the top position though.
Lin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Santos on the ground.

Lin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Santos's head.
Lin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Santos is staying active underneath Lin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Santos tries to roll over but Lin keeps him under control.
Lin scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Santos pushes a forearm under Lin's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Lin is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
