Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Heinie Lamprecht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Leaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leaf slaps away a takedown attempt from Lamprecht, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lamprecht blocks a head kick by Leaf.
Lamprecht tries to clinch there but Leaf circles away.
Lamprecht uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Leaf.
Leaf leaves Lamprecht with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lamprecht shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Leaf pinned against the cage. Leaf gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Heinie Lamprecht. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Leaf seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lamprecht does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Heinie Lamprecht has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Lamprecht changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Leaf tries to avoid it but Lamprecht manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Leaf to the ground. Leaf escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Leaf wants to finish this one by submission but Lamprecht is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Leaf.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Leaf has hold of Lamprecht's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lamprecht manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Leaf won't let Lamprecht get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Leaf shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Leaf was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Leaf stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Lamprecht tries to close the distance and clinch but Leaf swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Leaf feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Leaf drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Leaf jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
