Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donny Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miky Mora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes to the cage accompanied by Monkey Junction. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Mora uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Davis.
A combination from Davis does no damage.
Davis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Mora counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Davis's guard now.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Davis is looking to stand up but Mora isn't so interested in that idea.

Mora not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mora stands up over Davis, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Miky Mora wasn't active enough on the ground.

Mora scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Davis to see if he's OK.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Mora is trying to ground and pound but Davis uses the momentary lack of control by Mora to regain half guard.
