Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taz Lero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Sir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sir has chosen Kickstart as his entrance music. Pablo Sir has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Taz Lero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pablo Sir!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sir connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lero momentarily.
Lero shoots in for a takedown but Sir shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sir connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Sir defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lero.
Sir misses with a few strikes there.
Lero shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sir pinned against the cage. Sir gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taz Lero. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sir paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Lero shoots in for a takedown but Sir shows good takedown defense.

Lero closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sir connects with a crisp jab.
Sir jabs Lero right on the nose. Lero blinks but takes it well.
Lero shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Lero changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sir tries to avoid it but Lero manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sir to the ground. Sir escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sir lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lero at a distance.
Lero takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lero takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Taz Lero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sir lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Lero is rocked!
Sir fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lero looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sir is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Lero had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Lero closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sir circles away.
Lero is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Lero ducks straight into an uppercut from Sir and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Lero manages to regain guard straight away.
Oh Lero is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sir connects with a couple of short punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sir is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Sir pushes down on Lero's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Sir maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Lero could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Sir has cracked it and Lero is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Sir!
