Rudd has chosen James Bond Theme - Naked City as his entrance music. adam adams had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rudd tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but adams swivels and escapes.

Rudd closes the distance and clinches up with adams, looking for a takedown. Rudd pushes adams against the cage but adams circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

adams goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rudd turns into him and now he's in adams's guard.

adams has control of Rudd's left arm, preventing Rudd from doing any damage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rudd stands up over adams, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

adams working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rudd doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rudd manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kevin Rudd showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Rudd misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
adams shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rudd as he jumps to the side.

adams has his foot on Rudd's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rudd works his way back into a safe position though.
adams utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
adams bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rudd's guard.

adams is really struggling to control Rudd but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Rudd tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but adams wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Rudd regains half guard, as adams was trying to land strikes.
adams is stalling here. Rudd is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! adams seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Rudd has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
