Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nanos Perdatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Do Me (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Perdatov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Muhammad Ali Speech. Me is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Do Re Me. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nanos Perdatov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Do Me!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perdatov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Perdatov takes a swing at Me's ribcage but misses.
Me slips under a jab from Perdatov.
The crowd cheers as Me lands an impressive looking overhand right. Perdatov doesn't seem phased though.
Me throws out a leg kick but Perdatov moves out of range and Me only half commits.
Perdatov misses with a body shot.

Me gets a double leg takedown into Perdatov's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Me pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Perdatov is keeping the position for now.
Me trying to control the position from guard on top but Perdatov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Me preventing the sweep.
Me passes Perdatov's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Perdatov blocking the ground and pound attempt from Me.
Perdatov looks like he's trying to stand up.

Perdatov is pressing down on Me's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Perdatov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Me stays in close to Perdatov's body and controls the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Me moves into range and connects with a jab.
Me stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Me tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Perdatov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Perdatov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Perdatov connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Me tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Perdatov was well out of range. Poor timing from Me.
Me ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Perdatov moves away.
The fighters circling - Perdatov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Me lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Perdatov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Me sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nanos Perdatov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Perdatov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Me's guard.
Perdatov trying to control but Me is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Me wants to sweep but no luck.
Me wants to stand but Perdatov is controlling the position.
Me really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Perdatov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Perdatov controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Nanos Perdatov wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Perdatov misses with a looping left.

Perdatov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Me sprawls well initially but Perdatov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Me tries to roll over but Perdatov keeps him under control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Me can do anything to dispel that myth.
Me tries to kick Perdatov off but Perdatov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Me is looking to control Perdatov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Me avoid being mounted?

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Perdatov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Perdatov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Me throws a jab when Perdatov was well out of range.
No luck for Perdatov with that takedown attempt.
Perdatov cracks Me with a right hand to the side of the head.

Me shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Me was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Perdatov is squirming around, avoiding Me's attempts to control the action.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Me is landing with some decent strikes but Perdatov is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Me looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Do Me dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Me uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Perdatov.
Me throws a poor cross that misses
and Perdatov counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Me swings for the body but Perdatov moves out of range.
Perdatov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Me defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Perdatov.
Perdatov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Me shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Me showed some decent athleticism there.
Perdatov holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Me prevents Perdatov from improving his position.
Me wants to pass to mount but Perdatov is defending the position.
Me thows a huge punch but Perdatov dodges it nicely.

Perdatov is looking to control Me's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Perdatov avoid being mounted?

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Me lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Perdatov shoots in but no luck this time.

Me misses with a kick to the body.

Me tries to roll over but Perdatov keeps him under control.

Me wants to control but Perdatov is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Perdatov stops Me from getting back to his feet.
Perdatov blocks the strikes from Me.
Me trying to control but Perdatov postures up.
Me is concentrating on defense, preventing Perdatov from advancing position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Do Me wasn't active enough on the ground.
Perdatov just misses with a punch to the body.
Me walks into a straight right hand from Perdatov.
Perdatov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Me sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Perdatov somewhat.

Do Me showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Perdatov lands a jab to the head.
Perdatov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Me sprawls well. Me wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Perdatov gets slowly back to his feet.
Perdatov scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Perdatov misses with a body shot.
Me throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Perdatov.
Perdatov checks a low kick from Me.

Me closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Perdatov's guard.

Perdatov keeping moving, preventing Me from controlling successfully.
Perdatov is looking to stand up but Me isn't so interested in that idea.

Perdatov manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Me bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Do Me has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Me shoots in and bounces Perdatov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Me looking to sit in guard and control but Perdatov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Me looking to hit a scissor sweep but Perdatov is one step ahead there.

Perdatov is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Perdatov works over Me with some ground and pound from guard.
Me controls Perdatov momentarily but Perdatov frees himself.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Me.
Me misses with a straight left.
Me looks to land a right hand but Perdatov moved out of range.
Perdatov gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Me throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Perdatov looks to score with a jab to the body but Me is just out of range.
Me darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Perdatov throws out a loose jab but Me uses good head movement to avoid it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Me scores with a jab. Perdatov acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Me has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Perdatov. Me does a little dance to reset his feet.
Perdatov missing with a left hand there. Me was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

And that's the end of the fight!
Do Me comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Me has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
