These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diprivan misses with a body shot.
Garz swings for the body but Diprivan moves out of range.
A left lands for Garz.
Garz throws a right and a left that both miss.
Garz misses with a series of wild punches.
Garz tries to bum rush Diprivan with a series of wild strikes but Diprivan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Garz throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Diprivan counter with a right hand.
It looks like Fabi Garz has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Diprivan avoids the head kick by Garz.
Garz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Garz throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Diprivan makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Garz looks gassed!
Diprivan drops Garz with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Garz looks back up at him and smiles so Diprivan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Garz is rocked!
Diprivan works Garz's body with a nice hook.
Diprivan throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Garz crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Milan Diprivan!
