The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Labasan drives through and clinches with Palani against the cage.

Labasan breaks from the clinch.

Labasan pushes Palani up against the cage in a clinch.
Labasan throws a punch but it's blocked by Palani.

Labasan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Labasan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Palani throws a right and a left that both miss.

Labasan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Palani on his heels. He'll look to pass Palani's guard now, I'm sure.

Palani has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Labasan doesn't defend quickly enough and Palani has managed to lock this one up! Can Labasan escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Palani on a fantastic submission victory.
