Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Combs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Sherk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Combs might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ennio Morricone - For A Few Dollars More. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jamie Combs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sean Sherk!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Combs blocks a head kick by Sherk.
Combs tries to clinch up but Sherk circles away and keeps his distance.
Sherk avoids a punch combination nicely.
Combs will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Combs moves into the clinch.
Sherk throws an elbow but it misses.
Sherk is pressed up against the cage. Combs has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sherk down to the mat. Sherk avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Combs looks to clinch
and Sherk holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Sherk has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Combs avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Sherk is working for takedown but Combs is calmly controlling the position for now.
Sherk turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sherk manages to end up in side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Combs is trying to escape the position but Sherk is controlling the position.
Sherk looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Combs is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sherk works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Combs is looking to regain half guard here but Sherk keeps moving and retains side control.
Combs struggling a bit here.
Combs is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sherk is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sherk landing strikes.
Sherk has an Americana. Combs didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sherk is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sherk hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Sean Sherk!
