Mike Tyson - American Dream as his entrance music. Bigfoot Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bigfoot Silva!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva stuns Pendragon with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Pendragon shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Pendragon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pendragon lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Pendragon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Pendragon finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Pendragon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Silva is keeping the position for now.
Silva wants to stand and escape but Pendragon is having none of it.
Pendragon pushes down on Silva's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Pendragon tries to pass the half guard into mount. Silva knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Silva is pressing down on Pendragon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Pendragon wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
Silva can't keep his opponent in guard - Pendragon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Pendragon is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Silva has managed to free his arm - good work.
Pendragon tries to pass to full mount but Silva defends it.

Silva looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Silva is trying to get back to full guard.
Well, if Pendragon is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Silva moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Pendragon passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva is looking for a sweep.
Silva manages to work his way to half guard, despite Pendragon's best efforts.
Pendragon frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Pendragon tries to control but Silva wriggling away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Pendragon goes for an armbar but Silva turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Silva.
Silva tries to stand but Pendragon is controlling from the bottom.

Pendragon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Silva defends well.

Pendragon looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Silva has picked Pendragon up and slammed him! Pendragon can't keep hold of the triangle and Silva manages to pass to side control!
Pendragon tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Silva wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Pendragon sneaks back into half guard.
Pendragon tries to get to full guard but Silva has control of the leg.
Silva seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Pendragon is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Pendragon is staying active underneath Silva, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva tries to stand and escape but Pendragon is controlling the position.
Pendragon wants to get back to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bigfoot Silva was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Silva slips a straight right by Pendragon.
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Silva slips a jab from Pendragon.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Silva, as that shot connected.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pendragon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pendragon misses with a kick to the body.
Silva swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Mike Pendragon will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Oooooh!!! Silva has knocked Pendragon down with a huge combo! Silva steps away and waves a wobbly Pendragon back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Mike Pendragon has been cut.

Pendragon has a takedown stuffed.
Pendragon misses with a series of wild punches.
Pendragon avoids the body shot from Silva.
Silva tests Pendragon's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Pendragon moves forwards but Silva connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Pendragon is rocked!
Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva cracks Pendragon with a right hand to the side of the head.
Oh Pendragon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mike Pendragon's cut is getting worse.

Silva drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Pendragon right on the button. Pendragon goes down! Silva follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Silva gets the win via TKO!
