Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oil Slick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Wise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slick comes to the cage accompanied by Careful With That Axe Eugene. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Slick crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wise - the referee stops the clock and Slick gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wise. Slick manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Wise lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Slick at a distance.
Wise moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

It looks like Oil Slick has been cut.
Wise blocks a head kick by Slick.
Slick moves out of range of the strikes.
Wise buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Slick misses with a kick to the body.

Wise lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Slick tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wise sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Slick somewhat.

Slick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A low kick from Slick is predictable there
and Wise counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wise keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Slick throws a low kick but it's checked well by Wise.
Wise throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Slick on the side of the head.
Slick shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wise as he avoids it easily.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wise looks to throw the jab but Slick is out of range.
Wise lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slick circles away quickly and effectively.

Slick is trying to break the clinch but Wise has him pressed against the cage.

Wise is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Wise working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Wise tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Slick's elbow.
Wise pushes Slick back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Wise gets through Slick's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Wise lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Slick backwards.
Wise can't find room to land a body shot as Slick controls the action.

Slick with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Slick has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Wise uses from the top position.
Wise wants to get up but he can't break Slick's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Slick is looking to improve his position but Wise isn't that keen on the idea.

Slick uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wise has time to react.

Wise swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Slick is rocked!
Slick gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Wise gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Slick is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
