The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santoro manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kitsune on his heels. He'll look to pass Kitsune's guard now, I'm sure.
Santoro lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Kitsune wants to improve his position but instead Santoro has moved into half guard.
Kitsune regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Santoro.
Santoro scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Santoro has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Kitsune can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Santoro controls the pace.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kitsune bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Santoro's guard.
Santoro pulls Kitsune in close to prevent any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Santoro connects with a right hand. Kitsune shakes it off.
Kitsune slips a straight right by Santoro.
A jab from Santoro finds it's way through Kitsune's defenses.
Kitsune tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Santoro circles away from the clinch attempt.
Santoro thuds his right hand into Kitsune's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Momoshiro Kitsune has been cut.

Santoro shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Santoro was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Santoro has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kitsune's face.

Momoshiro Kitsune's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Momoshiro Kitsune's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
